Amoeba Creatures-1986,30”X24” acrylic paint on canvas.  My first painting in college exploring depth, shape and color.
 
Time Tunnel-1989, 32”X28” acrylic paint on canvas.  This one of my early works, applying paint from filled squeeze bottles as well as using brushes. SOLD
 
Soulmates- 1989, 24”X30”, acrylic paint on canvas.  This was created for my boyfriend who became my husband and it still hangs on our wall.  There is a “Yin and Yang” symbolism here with swirling energies.  Only brushes were used. 
 
Harmony-1991 20”X16” acrylic paint on canvas.  This one was made using a palette knife and squeeze bottles filled with paint.
 
Sanctuary-1991, 80”X30” acrylic paint on canvas.  This one was made when we moved to Houston. I used masking, texture gel and brushes.
 
Homage to Matisse-2000, 36”X24” acrylic paint on canvas.  This was a study of Henri Matisse’s “The Dance” 1910.  I took liberties with the colors and the ladies as it pleased me.  I only used brushes. SOLD
 
Criket-2001 36”X24” acrylic paint on canvas.  This was my husband’s parents’ dog.  I did this portrait for them.
Dolphins-2002 80”X30” acrylic paint on canvas.  This was done using palette knife only
Fiesta-2002 36”X24” acrylic paint on canvas.  This was created for my husbands’ parents.  They live in San Antonio Texas.  I used masking, texture gel and brushes.
 
Split Personality-2002 36”X36” acrylic paint on canvas.  This was done with masking and brush only.  The design in the stripes is the same, but in a different color as the thicker parts as to give a push/pull effect. 
 
Retro Red-2003 24”X36” acrylic paint on canvas.  This was a commissioned work with a given design and client chosen colors.  The paint was a quarter inch thick and textured.
 
City Scape-1995 48”X36” acrylic paint on canvas.  This was a commissioned work done using texture gel, masking and airbrush.
 
Urban Sunset-1995 24”X36” acrylic paint on canvas.  This one was inspired by what is seen looking at the reflection in a mirrored city scape.  I used texture gel, masking, brushes and airbrush.
